Teenage Driving

Mom, grow up I can take care of myself! How many times have you heard your kid say that every time there is a party late at night? Of course, he will not understand your concern in spite of being told that lately there have been cases of road rages, drunken driving, fatal accidents and all are attributed to teenage driving! There may be many things you teach your child when he was young, one of them being that he needs to drive safely, how he should handle speed with caution and no reckless driving. There have been so many accidents, the cause of which has made international news as well. There are programs being held to teach them few essentials of driving responsibly and handling aggressive driving with equal caution. They learn to develop driving skills over a period of time, what needs to be addressed immediately is their attitude towards life and being 'cool' driving on break neck speeds and blaring music on, talking on the cell phone while driving on busy roads, getting into fights, honking the horn on streets close to schools and then gesturing across to people on the road- that is a strict no no for any body to misbehave on the road leave alone teenagers. To know more on that read ahead.

What they need to know?

There have been drivers learning programs that are designed especially for teenagers in an attempt to reduce their risk taking behaviour and identifying the reason behind it as well. Though these programs are designed to help teens with driving they are not a guarnatee that soon he is all ready to face the ordeals while driving under any given condition. There have been more instances of teen car crashes at night with passengers more often than what the others would experience. They can become safe drivers once they start driving under guidance initially and then when they face the traffic challenges every day of their lives they will understand how to get a hold of the wheel and control the car. There are kids who start driving pretty early in life like 15 years or so and the reason majorly being that they were drunk when driving or were speeding up when the car crashed, the other reason being that they do not foresee a hazarduos accidental situation that lies ahead unlike the experienced and older drivers. Some drivers learn to drive slowly if they have been through a traumatic experience themselves, an accident in the family or in the closest friends circle often leaves others an impact of caution and often a lesson for life.

Studies claim that what needs to be controlled in teens is that part of the brain that controls the actions of the body.
